Built by the Ford family, for our own family first

FamilyOrganization.app is the family organizer on the TV you already own, with an ADHD-friendly visual timeline for each person (Roku now; Apple TV, Fire TV and Google TV coming).

It's made by the Ford family: a dad, a mom, a son and a daughter, and all four of us have ADHD. We built it for our own mornings, then opened it to other families.

Updated

The first build of FamilyOrganization.app on the Ford family's living-room TV: a family timeline with GET READY and TRAVEL blocks and a LEAVE IN 07:01 countdown before soccer practice.
Where it started: our living-room TV, 3 August 2026, showing a demo family's day.

Short answer

Who makes FamilyOrganization.app?

FamilyOrganization.app is made by the Ford family, a family of four who all have ADHD, and it started as the tool we built for our own mornings.

We're a dad, a mom, a son and a daughter, and all four of us have ADHD. Dad builds software. We started FamilyOrganization.app on 1 August 2026 for one household, ours, and the first build ran on our living-room TV on 3 August: a timeline for each person, a GET READY block, travel time and a LEAVE IN countdown before every appointment.

In September 2026 a photo of that TV spread through ADHD and parenting Facebook groups, reaching 104,703 views between 29 August and 25 September (Facebook Insights). About 435 comments came in within a week of our group posts on 12 September, and beta testers have since signed up from 12 countries. We build it in public, with every change dated.

Short answer

Is FamilyOrganization.app a real company?

Yes. FamilyOrganization.app is a real product in beta today, operated by Next Mountain Ventures, with a mailing address at 110 N Akard Street, Dallas, TX.

The iPhone app and the Roku TV app are in beta with families. Support email goes to support@familyorganization.app, and the privacy policy and terms of use are public.

It is also early, and this site says so. As of 28 September 2026, pricing hasn't been announced and the Roku Channel Store listing hasn't finished certification. Apple TV, Fire TV, Google TV and Android are coming soon, and the Claude and ChatGPT connector and the Alexa skill are in development, so none of those are available yet. What's built, what isn't, and when each thing changed is on the build-in-public page.

Why it exists

Why did our family build a hub for the TV?

Because our mornings needed a clock everyone could see, and the biggest screen in the house was already on the wall.

We're an ADHD family, all four of us, and Dad builds software. Getting out of the door on time was the hard part of the day: who needs to be ready when, how long the drive takes, and how many minutes are really left. Phones hide that in a pocket. A fridge calendar doesn't count down.

So the first thing we built, on 3 August 2026, was a timeline for each person on the living-room TV, with a GET READY block, the travel time, and a LEAVE IN countdown. Everything else came after that.

Why the TV first?

  • Everyone can see it

The TV is the biggest screen in most homes, and it's already where the family gathers. Nobody has to unlock a phone to see what's next.

  • Kids don't need a device

Kids tick off chores with the TV remote, so they don't need a phone, a tablet or an account.

  • Nothing new to buy

It's an app on a TV you already own (Roku today; Apple TV, Fire TV and Google TV coming soon), and every TV in the house can show it.

How we build

How is FamilyOrganization.app built?

In public, with beta testers in 12 countries. Every change is dated, and every request gets an honest answer.

After a photo of the TV spread through ADHD and parenting Facebook groups (104,703 views between 29 August and 25 September 2026, per Facebook Insights), families asked to test it and asked for their own TVs and phones. You can read what families said and see how it's being built in public, with the date and status of each change.

Before launch, a review of the iPhone app, the Roku app and the backend found 145 issues; the 42 confirmed as blockers or high priority were fixed. The first release is iPhone-only (no iPad yet), and the TV app runs on Roku; both are in beta.

Principles

What does FamilyOrganization.app promise?

To be calm, to be honest about what's ready, and to keep your family's information private.

  • Calm

One idea at a time, motion you can pause or switch off, and no pop-up on arrival. The product and this site are designed for families with ADHD, autism or both.

  • Honest

No fake urgency: no countdown timers on offers, no "only 3 spots left", no email gate. Features that aren't ready say "in development", "coming soon" or "planned", and pricing will be announced at launch, not before.

  • Private, and careful with kids

Your family's data is visible only to your household, and you can delete your account from the app anytime. Kids don't need accounts, a children's-privacy (COPPA) review was done before launch, and AI stays out of it unless a household admin chooses to connect an assistant.

The details are in the privacy policy and the terms of use.
