Support

Help with FamilyOrganization.app — the family organizer for your TV, phone and browser.

Get in touch

Email support@familyorganization.app. A real person reads it. We're a small team, so email is the fastest way to reach us — there's no phone support line and no ticket system to sign in to.

How to get help

Email support@familyorganization.app with whatever you're stuck on. It helps if you can tell us:

  • The email address on your account, so we can find your household.
  • Where you saw the problem — the iPhone app, the TV, or the website.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

Please don't send us passwords. We will never ask you for one, and we don't need it to help you.

Common things people write in about

  • Adding someone to your family. Open the app, go to Family, then Users, then Add Family Member. Most children don't need a login of their own — they show on the TV and on your phone without one.
  • Giving someone their own login. In Family, then Users, open that person and use Create Account. You choose their email address and password and tell them yourself; no email is sent to them.
  • Forgotten password. Anyone signed in can change their own password from Family, then Users, then Account. If a family member is locked out, an adult in the household can use Remove Account on that person's page and then Create Account again with a new password — the person stays on the family list either way. If you're the account holder and you're locked out, email us and we'll help.
  • Connecting a TV. Open the channel on your Roku and pair it with the short code it shows you. You can remove a TV at any time from the Displays screen.
  • Removing someone. In Family, then Users, open that person and choose Remove from Family. That deletes their profile and, if they had one, their login.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account from inside the iPhone app. Open Family, then Users, scroll to the Account section at the bottom, and choose Delete Account. The app checks with our server first and tells you exactly what would be deleted before anything happens.

  • If another admin remains in your household, deleting removes your login and your place in the household. The household carries on for everyone else.
  • If you are the last admin, the household is deleted with you — the family list, chores, routines, tasks and their history, the calendar, meals and saved recipes, areas of the home, anchor points, your settings including any home address, every paired TV, and any Alexa link. Stored files go too: member photos, meal photos, room photos and recorded sounds. The logins of everyone else in that household are deleted as well, unless they also belong to another household. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm, because it can't be undone.

One thing is kept on purpose: if a household admin ever connected an AI assistant, the record that they agreed to it survives deletion. It holds identifiers, the app's name and a date — no family names, email addresses or household information. There's more about this under AI assistants in the privacy policy.

If you can't get into the app to do this, email us from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.
