I Put Our Family's Values on the TV Where Everyone Has to See Them

August 15: Anchor Points on the TV.

The Ford family · Josh, dad and builder of FamilyOrganization.app, writing up his build journey

On August 15 I added Anchor Points to the TV: a screen for a family's values. You reach it by cycling with fast-forward and rewind, and it shows up to six anchors in a grid of two columns and three rows. Each one has a title, a subtitle and a short list of points.

With more than six, the grid scrolls slowly upward in a loop. I lay the list out twice so it resets without a visible jump. I also built the iPhone screen to edit them and the table that stores them. Here's the feature.

Built on August 15, 2026 (commit 815969c). Written up on October 2, 2026 from my commit history.

See your family's day on the TV you already own.

FamilyOrganization.app is in beta on Roku and iPhone. Apple TV, Fire TV and Google TV are coming soon.
