On August 26 I made the apps agree about what "get ready" and "travel" mean. Three of them had each done their own math, so I wrote the rules down once and tested them.
Getting ready takes the person's own time if it's set, otherwise the event's, otherwise the household default. It picks one; it never adds them. Travel is the drive time, worked out by the server, and it only counts if the household turned it on. You leave at the start time minus travel, and you start getting ready at that time minus the prep. "Next" is whoever has to act first. The leave countdown runs on this.
